Virtual Nurse

Virtual Nurse needed for patient-facing role in DME. Summary
We're seeking a compassionate nurse to help patients receive prescribed therapeutic footwear that prevents lower-limb wounds and amputation. This remote position combines patient care coordination, insurance verification, and clinical assessment. You'll build meaningful relationships with patients and their physicians while managing the entire patient journey—from initial registration through final dispensing.

As a key member of our 100% remote support team, you'll handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, physician offices, and insurance companies. You'll schedule appointments, review clinical progress notes to verify diabetes-related foot conditions (peripheral neuropathy, ulceration, deformity, poor circulation, callus formation, amputations), and process insurance benefits and prior authorizations. You'll also manage patient payments and may assist with additional tasks matching your skillset. Our team stays connected throughout the day, working collaboratively to ensure excellent patient care and service delivery.

Deliverables
Inbound Call Management: Register new patients, guide documentation collection, schedule assessment/fitting and dispensing appointments; update existing patients on case progress
Outbound Communications: Contact patients, physician offices, and insurance companies
Clinical Compliance Review: Analyze progress notes to identify qualifying conditions (peripheral neuropathy, callus formation, poor circulation, deformity, ulceration, amputations)
Insurance Coordination: Verify eligibility, benefits, and secure prior authorizations
Payment Processing: Handle patient billing transactions

Requirements: Fast keyboarding, experience with CRM, able compute percentages.
Work Hours: 35-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, eastern time.
