The Virtual Relationship Officer will play a crucial role in MashreqBank Egypt's Egypt-SMEs-NeoBiz department. They will be responsible for managing and nurturing existing NEO BIZ customers, primarily through outbound calling channels. The primary objective is to cross-sell various SME products, including Trade and working capital, FX, and investments, to increase deposit books and generate financial earnings. The role also involves ensuring optimal risk propositions and maintaining a superior customer service experience.
  • Manage and nurture existing NEO BIZ customers through outbound calling channels.
  • Cross-sell SME products such as Trade, working capital, FX, and investments.
  • Ensure timely execution of welcome calls and regular service calls to assigned accounts.
  • Conduct scoping of accounts to activate, nurture, and enhance customer profitability.
  • Generate revenue from FX, Trade, Bank Guarantees, Insurance, and Investment offerings.
  • Maintain the agreed funding rate for the customer portfolio.
  • Provide superior customer service, including proactive issue resolution and servicing.
  • Conduct conference calls with product advisors for high-potential clients and dormant account activations.
  • Ensure timely updates of KYC, TL, and other governance aspects for portfolio quality.
  • Assist compliance, AML, FP&I, and governance units while maintaining customer confidentiality.
  • University graduate with a finance/banking or mathematics background preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in business banking as a Relationship Officer.
  • Excellent knowledge of business banking products, including FX, Trade and Working Capital (TWC), Insurance, and Investments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build relationships.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant banking software.
  • Awareness of FX markets, global financial markets, and trade and working capital offerings.
  • Adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP) and quality service standards.
  • Ability to work closely with branches, SME central teams, and compliance units.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in complaint resolution and charge reversals.
