About the role
As a Vision Engineer, you report to the VI/VT Lead and play an important role in optimizing the automatic visual inspection and vacuum testing process within the VI/VT department of SFFD. • Training and supporting operators and technicians in the use and understanding of vision systems.
• Collaborating within project teams on the development and implementation of the new visual inspection standard in accordance with Annex 1.
• Close cooperation with production teams and supporting departments such as M&R, Improvement, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Global Support Functions.
Your profile
• A completed bachelor's degree (hbo or wo) in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Technical Informatics, Computer Science/AI, or a similar field. A master's degree is a plus.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with industrial machine-vision applications in a production environment (e.g., within pharma, food, automotive, or packaging), including hands-on experience with vision software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for structured documentation and clear communication with all types of stakeholders.
• Knowledge of production technologies, GMP guidelines, and Lean Six Sigma principles, or the motivation to further develop in these areas.
• Good command of project management skills and demonstrable experience in guiding and realizing changes.
• Affinity with programming and a good understanding of software engineering principles; experience with this is a plus.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
