Detailed Job Description:

Experience Level: 8+ years in VisionPlus.

Responsibilities:

• Working as Individual contributor.
• Analyze, design, code, test, deploy, and debug COBOL programs in CICS, VSAM, and JCL environments.
• Interpret requirements and develop, execute, and support custom application features and functions.
• Review BRDs and break requirements into MVPs and user stories.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of mainframe code-management applications, including Endevor and Changeman, as well as batch scheduling. Provide subject-matter expertise on CICS and infrastructure topics such as AOR, FOR, interface architecture, and connectivity.
• Have strong experience with VisionPlus modules, including CMS, FAS, TRAMS, ITS, LTS, and ASM, with deep expertise in key areas such as CMS, FAS, and key management.
• Apply extensive hands-on knowledge of VisionPlus batch and online programs.
• Assess, design, code, and test enhancements to complex modules.
• Follow established standards and controls to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Prepare application design, functional, and technical documentation.
• Guide and mentor teams in providing application support, including on-call support during critical incidents when required.
• Experience working in a DevOps environment and on Agile projects is an advantage.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Identify and implement system performance improvements.
• Diagnose CICS issues and deliver permanent resolutions.
• Participate in and lead crisis calls for production incidents.
• Lead solutions for complex projects, particularly during architecture and design phases. Collaborate with business teams on new system designs and architect solutions that meet market demands.
• Collaborate closely with global architecture teams.
• Manage risks with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage card-platform releases.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong domain and technical expertise in cards, particularly the VisionPlus application, including batch and online flows, posting, security systems, production support, and service management. Proven ability to manage crisis situations and Tier 0 and Tier 1 services, with strong knowledge of surrounding, upstream, and downstream systems and essential mainframe technologies.
• Proficiency in programme management, communication, stakeholder management, risk management, cost management, IT delivery, and IT service ownership.
• Demonstrated involvement in and contribution to key flagship projects across business units and regions.

Optional Skills:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, AWS, digital technologies, and APIs.

Relevant Experience:

• Hands-on experience managing large, complex projects and engineering delivery.

Working Hours:

• Adjust working hours as needed to collaborate with teams across global time zones.
• Be available to work outside standard business hours and provide platform on-call support when required.
