Position Summary Under the direction of the Chief of Population Health Research and Evaluation and Principal Investigators, the Research Program Manager manages the planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of complex research and implementation initiatives within Mile Square Health Center. The position oversees program operations, research and regulatory activities, stakeholder engagement, data and evaluation processes, and administrative functions to ensure project objectives, timelines, deliverables, and sponsor requirements are met. The Research Program Manager also contributes to dissemination, sustainability planning, and development of future research and funding opportunities. Duties Responsibilities Program Management and Implementation Manages day-to-day operations of assigned research and implementation initiatives, including development and oversight of project work plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and reporting requirements. Coordinates activities across investigators, project staff, clinical teams, community partners, consultants, and other stakeholders. Research and Regulatory Operations Coordinates research operations and ensures activities are conducted in accordance with approved protocols, institutional requirements, sponsor expectations, and applicable regulatory and human subjects protections. Oversees development and maintenance of research documentation, protocols, standard operating procedures, regulatory submissions, participant tracking systems, and research databases. Coordinate and supervise the work of research staff, students, trainees, or other project personnel. Clinical and Systems Implementation Coordinates implementation and integration of research and program interventions within clinical and community settings. Collaborates with research, clinical, and community partners and monitors implementation progress, adoption, and fidelity, and supports pilot testing, refinement, and continuous quality improvement. Evaluation and Data Management Coordinates project evaluation and performance-monitoring activities, including quantitative and qualitative data collection, participant and stakeholder assessments, project databases and dashboards, and outcome and implementation measures. Monitors project performance and prepares analyses, summaries, and reports to support program improvement, leadership decision-making, and sponsor reporting. Community and Stakeholder Engagement Coordinates engagement and activities with patients, community members, clinical partners, advisory groups, advocacy organizations, and other stakeholders in project planning and implementation. Administrative and Financial Management Supports administrative and financial management of assigned projects, including monitoring expenditures, coordinating purchasing and consultant activities, processing project-related payments and incentives, maintaining project records, and supporting sponsor and institutional reporting requirements. Dissemination, Sustainability, and Research Development Supports dissemination of project findings and lessons learned through scientific, professional, clinical, and community channels. Coordinates development of dissemination products and implementation resources and contributes to manuscripts, presentations, reports, and other scholarly products. Supports sustainability and scale-up planning and assists investigators with the identification and development of future funding opportunities and grant applications. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
