Visual Designer (Image & Videos)
Summary
Univacity is hiring a Visual Designer (Image & Videos) in Lekki, Nigeria to create graphics, illustrations, infographics, and video content for digital and print marketing while maintaining brand consistency. Core tools include Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with motion graphics, video editing, and HTML/CSS as pluses.
We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Visual Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design and a passion for creating visually compelling content that resonates with our audience. You will be responsible for producing graphics, illustrations, and other visual elements that enhance our brand identity and support our marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative visual designs for digital and print media, including social media graphics, website banners, email campaigns, brochures, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to create visually appealing and effective marketing materials.
- Maintain and uphold Univacity’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all visual content.
- Create original illustrations, infographics, and icons to support various content needs.
- Assist in the design and layout of the company’s website and mobile app interfaces.
- Work closely with the UX/UI team to ensure a cohesive and user-friendly design experience.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into your work.
- Provide design support for special projects and events as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Visual Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and your creative process.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong understanding of layout, typography, color, and branding.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into visually appealing and easy-to-understand designs.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing is a plus.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and web design principles is a plus.
