Summary
A visual designer on Accenture Federal Services' marketing and communications team creates original print and digital design work — social media content, newsletters, web pages, emails, video, and print — for US federal agency clients, translating complex ideas into brand-consistent, accessible visual storytelling using Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
You Are:
As a Visual Designer, you work collaboratively to deliver visual solutions that are smart, approachable, and impactful. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and federal partners to design and market secure, accessible, and user-centered experiences. This role spans the full product lifecycle, from developing a brand vision to delivering usable, compliant, and measurable solutions. You’ll help agencies move beyond transactional experiences toward marketable products that build trust and improve outcomes for the public and agencies alike.
The work:
- Create original design work for a wide range of print and digital projects, including social media content, newsletters, blog posts, web pages, direct mail, web banners, print pieces, ads, emails, videos, and/or other visual materials
- Work with thought leaders to translate complex or abstract ideas into polished visual storytelling for communication
- Serving as an advisor to stakeholders, gaining an understanding of their goals, and making recommendations for workable solutions
- Implement standards and accessibility across all deliverables
- Ensure consistent application of the client’s visual language by various contributors and across different mediums/channels
Here’s what you need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with visually communicating complex ideas, protecting, and amplifying the client’s brand, and enhancing content that reinforces their brand purpose
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience using standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (XD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, familiarity with the MS Office suite, including PowerPoint
- Experience with channel-specific outputs (print, web/digital, UI/UX, video, environmental, promotional, presentation) across a variety of platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Possess brand awareness and sensitivity, creating materials that maintain and evolve existing brand ecosystems
- Experience or demonstrated ability in utilizing AI-driven methodologies to shape and deliver findings or artifacts
- Experienced in organizing content, imagery, and strategy into a cohesive design suitable for marketing purposes
- Ability to interpret data to refine targeted marketing communications
- Ability to provide excellent consultation when meeting, collaborating, and brainstorming with clients and authors to understand and interpret needs
- Strong conceptual thinker who effectively translates qualitative and quantitative research into visually stimulating and intellectually engaging compositions

- Strong design aesthetic to creatively communicate a story, message, idea, process, or methodology
- High capacity for design thinking, along with a general understanding of and appreciation for experience design, strategy, and innovation
- Understanding of technology platforms that support user experiences
- Passionate and enthusiastic about excellence and attention to detail to ensure quality is delivered in every output
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into creative solutions
- A collaborative, open, and service-oriented attitude; able to interact and build relationships with a variety of personalities across stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated ability or experience with tools like Framer, Jitter and Procreate
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
