VISUAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST (DIGITAL PUBLISHING)

About the Position: This position supports the mission by providing health communication products and services in the areas of public health and preventive medicine and the position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Advanced In-Hire may be authorized if new to Federal Service.

Serve as a project officer on digital publishing projects, managing production schedules under the pressure of short suspense deadlines.

Manage projects to execute work to design and modify digital publishing files for diverse media.

Conduct pre-production meetings with program managers, editors, and senior leaders to guide them on the most appropriate approach based on target audience.

Discuss budget constraints, material requirements, production schedules, and designs to develop accurate cost estimates.

Research new visual information technologies to enhance production quality.

Implement design workflow solutions both within the division and in coordination with external client offices.

Utilize technological knowledge of large-format and office printing systems to produce products.

Resolve technical difficulties within printing systems for efficiency.
