VISUAL MERCH TIER I (Ashley Owasso) - Safety Sensitive - Driving

Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm Monday- Friday

Pay: $18/hr., based on experience

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED: (Design Focused)

• Creating and maintaining a compelling presentation of merchandise that will engage customers and help stimulate sales activity.
• Ensure that the image and style of the company is always protected.
• Must have attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks.
• Change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion as directed by merchandisers, managers, or upper management.
• Develop ideas or plans for merchandise displays or window decorations.
• Arrange properties, furniture, merchandise, backdrops, and other accessories.
• Provide direction to Visual Merch Materials Handlers on which product will go in each specific bay.
• Assist with arranging each bay to promote all products in the best way possible, specifically focusing on promotional items.
• Perform any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and 1 chargeable accident within the last three years.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Experience and/or education in interior design preferred.
• Positive attitude when working with customers.
• Knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, typing, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 15lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Work Environment: Indoor, climate-controlled environment.
