The role

As a Visual Merchandiser Executive, you will drive store performance and brand consistency across our stores in Singapore through strategic visual merchandising planning to shape customers in-store experience. Reporting directly to the Retail Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping store brand visuals, improving productivity, and delivering business results aligned with the brand vision.

Main responsibilities

1. Business Drive & Commercial Focus

  • Strategize, plan and execute impactful in-store layouts, mannequin styling, and product displays aligned with brand DNA, seasonal direction, and store demographics.
  • Analyze store performance & merchandising reports to identify gaps and optimize product placement for improved sales and conversion.
  • Lead weekly VM meetings to align priorities, share updates, and drive clear action plans with the in-store VM team.
  • Conduct regular store visits with Retail Manager (or) and Store Managers to audit VM standards, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions.
  • Execute window campaign guideline, liaise with local vendors for set up to ensure amplify product launch and seasonal campaigns.
  • Continuously test and refine visual strategies to drive commercial performance and customer engagement.

2. Team Management & Training

  • Lead and motivate in-store VMs through weekly check-ins, coaching, and feedback to ensure consistent VM standards across stores.
  • Plan and execute training programs with Store Managers to upskill new and existing VMs.
  • Cascade HQ VM standards and brand guidelines to the team, ensuring alignment across all stores.
  • Conduct VM Basic Store Training for retail staff to build strong VM fundamentals.
  • Support talent development & appraisals, identifying high-potential team members for future growth.

3. VM Standards & Execution Excellence

  • Ensure strict adherence to global VM guidelines, conducting regular audits via store checklists.
  • Support new store openings and special VM setups, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Manage VM fixtures, equipment, and logistics across stores, liaising with Retail Operations for timely execution.
  • Participate in monthly store walkthroughs with management; follow up with HQ and store teams on improvement actions.
  • Liaise with HQ stakeholders to ensure all in-store visual touchpoints (e.g. mannequins, displays, physical and digital collaterals) meet VM standards.
  • Coordinate and execute visual merchandising elements for ad hoc marketing activations and tacticals, ensuring alignment with HQ direction and brand consistency
  • Manage VM budgets efficiently and coordinate collateral orders, deliveries, and execution timelines.
  • Monitor competitor VM trends and recommend relevant ideas to strengthen the brand’s visual presence.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline, with at least 3 years of hands-on visual merchandising experience in retail, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience driving visual merchandising in a fast-paced retail environment with elevated brand standards.
  • Strong understanding of retail space optimization and customer journey mapping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Google Workspace tools (Drive, Sheets, and Slides) for collaborative and data-driven work.
