Retina Institute of Virginia is seeking a fellowship-trained Retina / Vitreous Specialist to join our growing team of ophthalmologists!
About the Practice:
With two primary offices and three satellite locations across Richmond, Fredericksburg, Tappahannock, Colonial Heights, and Williamsburg, RIV provides state-of-the-art care for retinal diseases in a personalized, patient-focused environment. Our board-certified, fellowship-trained physicians specialize in:

Diabetic retinopathy

About the Position:

Fellowship-trained in Retina / Vitreous (additional uveitis training preferred but not required)
-
Average surgical cases: ~6/week; Richmond-based surgery
-
Average patient volume: ~50/day
-
Flexible surgery schedule
-
M–F schedule with at least one full surgery day
-
No hospital calls; weekend/holiday rotation (8–9 weekends per year)

20% travel to satellite office in Williamsburg
-
5 MD Retina-only practice
