Designs VMware-based private and hybrid cloud environments for clients: architects vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, Aria/vRealize, VCF and VMware Cloud on AWS/Azure/GCP, producing HLD/LLDs, HA/DR capacity models, and security reference architectures like micro-segmentation and zero-trust.
VMware Cloud Architect / Consultant needs f 4 years of experience in document control within a regulated (GxP) pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment
VMware Cloud Architect / Consultant requires:
- vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX (T), Aria/vRealize Suite, SRM, HCX, Tanzu/Kubernetes, Hybrid cloud (on-prem ? cloud, VMware Cloud on AWS/Azure/GCP)
- VMware certifications (VCP-DCV, VCAP, VCF Specialist)
- vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX (T), Aria/vRealize Suite, SRM, HCX, Tanzu/Kubernetes
- Hybrid cloud (on-prem ? cloud, VMware Cloud on AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Network overlays
- Egress controls and cost-aware architectures
- VMware ESXi & vCenter (8/9)
- VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
- VMware Lifecycle Manager
VMware Cloud Architect / Consultant mist duties:
- Create high- and low-level designs (HLD/LLD)
- Develop capacity and resilience models (HA/DR patterns, RPO/RTO)
- Define security reference architectures (micro-segmentation, zero-trust, segmentation policies)
