Summary

Designs and maintains VMware Aria Automation (vRA) environments, automates VM provisioning, and integrates with vCenter, AD, and vRealize Suite for cloud orchestration.

VMware Aria Automation (vRA) Engineer

Should have strong hands-on experience with VMware Aria Automation (formerly vRealize Automation - vRA) and related VMware cloud automation technologies.

Core Responsibilities & Skills\:

  • Design, implement, and maintain VMware Aria/vRealize Automation (vRA) environments.
  • Create and manage automation blueprints, self-service catalogs, and service offerings.
  • Automate virtual machine provisioning, configuration management, and lifecycle operations.
  • Integrate vRA with enterprise platforms such as\:
    • VMware vCenter
    • Active Directory
    • VMware Aria Suite / vRealize Suite components
  • Develop and maintain workflows using VMware Aria Orchestrator (vRO).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation platform issues, workflow failures, and infrastructure-related incidents.
  • Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC), governance frameworks, and compliance standards.
  • Support and administer VMware infrastructure components including ESXi, vCenter, clusters, templates, and virtualized environments.
  • Drive infrastructure automation and cloud orchestration initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
