Toot toot, beep beep!
We’re looking for a friendly, community‑spirited driver to help our HammondCare Scone residents enjoy short, cheerful outings around town. You’ll be behind the wheel of our mini‑bus (C Class licence required), supported by a dedicated care team who assist residents with getting on and off the bus and looking after their care needs.
If you love meeting people, enjoy a good chat, and want to make someone’s day a little brighter, this role brings connection, purpose, and plenty of smiles.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor
can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as
yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life
and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're
passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a
wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of the
clients cared for by HammondCare.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links
between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
