Volunteer

Waterford Country School encourages community and civic organizations to partner with us. We need passionate volunteers to help make this work possible!

Special Event Volunteers

These one-day volunteers assist with special events and fundraisers such as Family Fun Day on the Farm or the Annual Golf Tournament. Whether you come to help with your group or business or by yourself, you will be welcomed as guests and ambassadors of the agency. The Development Office will connect with you and assign the tasks needed to help these special events go smoothly.

Ongoing Support Volunteers

These awesome volunteers work in committees for ongoing long-term projects. Current groups include the Gardens & Grounds Landscaping Crew, the Farm & Animal Support Team and the Development Committee. WCS Staff meets with each of these groups monthly to plan projects and workgroups throughout the year.

Direct Program Volunteers

These volunteers work directly with our clients and/or their families. To become a Direct Service Volunteer, applicants must complete a Volunteer Application and work with HR to complete all necessary background checks and screenings because of their role in working with our clients. WCS Program Directors directly oversee these volunteers, determine their schedules, define their roles and responsibilities, and provide supervision and on their work.
