VP/AVP, Futures & Clearing Operations

Your new company

Our client is one of the largest financial institutions in the world, and they are currently seeking a VP/AVP, Futures & Clearing Operations to join their team in Singapore.

Your new role

· Managing day-to-day Futures, Options and Clearing Operations

· Supporting trade processing, exchange and clearing activities, reconciliations and settlements

· Investigating and resolving trade breaks, clearing exceptions and settlement issues

· Working closely with Front Office, Clearing Brokers, Exchanges, Finance, Risk and Technology teams

· Monitoring operational risks and controls

· Supporting new product, exchange and broker onboarding

· Driving process improvements, system enhancements and operational efficiency

What you'll need to succeed

· 5–10 years of experience in Futures & Options, Clearing or Markets Operations

· Strong knowledge of exchange-traded derivatives and the trade lifecycle

· Hands-on experience with clearing workflows, margin processes, position management and settlements

· Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

· Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
