VP, Financial Planning & Analysis
Description
Job Summary:
The Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (VP, FP&A) will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and serve as a key member of the Finance leadership team for an approximately $800 million global manufacturing organization operating across 24 sites.
This role comes at a critical point in the Company’s evolution following a significant merger that brought together two organizations consisting of 14 sites and 10 sites, respectively. The VP, FP&A will play a central leadership role in integrating the two organizations, establishing a common financial operating model, and building a best-in-class Finance organization for the combined company.
Rather than simply adopting the processes of one legacy organization, this leader will assess the capabilities, processes, systems, talent, and best practices of both companies and determine the optimal approach for the newly combined organization. The VP will lead the standardization and continuous improvement of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, demand planning, performance management, and related processes across all 24 locations.
The VP, FP&A will have global responsibility for Financial Planning & Analysis and Demand Planning and will lead a team with three direct reports: two FP&A Directors and a Demand Planning Manager.
The successful candidate will be a highly capable finance executive who combines strong financial and analytical expertise with demonstrated leadership in organizational transformation, business integration, and change management. This individual must be able to move seamlessly between enterprise-level strategy and detailed operational execution, partnering with senior leadership and site teams to improve performance, increase accountability, and support profitable growth.
The VP, FP&A will help transform Finance into a best-in-class organization that provides timely insights, challenges the business constructively, drives accountability, and plays an active role in developing and executing the Company’s strategy.
Success in this role requires a leader who operates with integrity, urgency, practicality, and accountability; develops strong teams; challenges the status quo; and can influence leaders throughout the organization.
The role will operate within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer-driven innovation, and a win-first culture while delivering the Company’s financial and operational performance objectives.
