VP-Head of HBB & B2B Planning

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of FTTH and FWA technologies and network architecture principles.
• Strong understanding of B2B business and solution
• Professional certification in Network Engineering
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for telecommunications.

Experience:

• Has extensive experience at least 5 years of experience in telecommunications network planning and engineering, multiple business unit background of working experiences in HBB & B2B would be an advantage
• Experience in capacity planning and performance optimization transport for broadband networks.
• Hands-on experience with cost estimation and budgeting for large-scale network projects.
• Familiarity with emerging home broadband technologies and industry trends.

Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to design efficient network solutions.
• Has excellent reporting, presentation and persuasion skill capabilities.
• Has excellent knowledge of telecommunication business & process in general.
• Has broad knowledge of technology roadmap especially in HBB and B2B requirements.
• Has excellent knowledge in translating business requirement into technical or functional specification.
• Has strategic thinking of end-to-end demand lifecycle process (requirement, solution and delivery), budget, governance and resources.
• Has strong business and financial acumen with a sense of shareholder responsibility

Key Activities

Strategic Planning

1. Establish divisional KPI based on organizational scorecard and cascaded down the teams for HBB & B2B Planning task
2. Manage division budget based on work-plan and control the utilization/realization of it

• In order to ensure division operates on budget and help contribute to organizational goals

HBB & B2B Network Planning and Solutions

1. Capture HBB & B2B business requirements and align with stake holder internally IOH and CKH/OG counterparts, ensuring that the local requirements of IOH are taken into account and the right solutions aligned with B2B business objective in 1 -5 years roadmap.
2. Align with HBB & B2B and all stake holder including subsidiaries to have synergy and best solutions and ensure the solution is feasible, implemented and operational running smoothly and competitive in the market. Target FMC (fixed Mobile Convergence) to lock the customer always stay with IOH is the ultimate target
3. Setup right design principle on HBB, SLA and KPI to drive the partner to deliver for best network in class with the contiguous improvement plan

Team Management

1. Develop and mentor team member(s) to achieve divisional objectives
2. Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, make recommendations to supervisor and implement actions, such as promotions and dismissals
3. Provide feedback to SVP to work with HR team to create the succession plan for the function/ organization and attract, motivate and retain top talent to ensure alignment with the plan

In order to ensure talents are attracted, retained developed to meet organizational needs

External Relation

1. Serve as a company representative for external related functions
2. To manage the partnership with HBB & B2B 3rd party to have the right operartion model and design principle
