About The Role

The Vice President of Accounting will be a key financial leader at NOCD, responsible for building and scaling the accounting infrastructure of a rapidly growing virtual healthcare organization with 1,400+ employees and 50%+ annual growth. This leader will oversee all accounting operations, strengthen and automate financial processes, improve close timelines, ensure accurate GAAP reporting and compliance, and optimize Sage Intacct and other financial systems. The VP will also lead revenue recognition, internal controls, audits, tax and compliance activities, cash management, and the development of a high-performing accounting team, while partnering closely with the CFO, executive leadership, Board, and other stakeholders to build the financial foundation needed to support NOCD's continued growth.


Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a highly quantitative field.

● Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

● 15+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.

● At least 7+ years of experience operating as a Controller or Vice President within a high-growth

organization.

● Proven experience operating within an organization of 1,000+ employees experiencing rapid

growth.

● Experience supporting or participating in major capital events, including private equity and debt

financing rounds.

● Expert-level knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with

Customers) and ASC 842 (Leases).


Preferred

● Master’s degree in accounting or an MBA.

● Public accounting experience, particularly with a Big Four or next-tier accounting firm.

● Experience leading accounting systems transformation, ERP optimization, and process

automation within a high-growth environment.

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this position is $190,000 to $225,000. Actual pay will be based on the individual’s qualifications and experience. This role is also eligible for annual performance-based incentives tied to individual achievement and company-wide goals.
