VP of Marketing

Pop! Promos is a Philadelphia-based supplier of custom branded merchandise, sold exclusively through promotional products distributors across the country. Founded in 2011 on the idea that custom merchandise should be easy to get right ("Custom Made Simple" is still how we describe it today), we've been recognized as one of Philadelphia's fastest-growing companies and named to the Inc. 500 list. We're now pushing forward on our growth goals, and we're hiring a VP of Marketing to own the brand, the value proposition and the demand engine that gets us there.

This is not a communications seat. You'll report to our CEO, lead our demand generation and creative teams, and share a revenue number with our sales leaders. Your job is to grow how many distributors buy from us and how deeply, and to help those distributors win their own clients with the creative and products we put in their hands.

What you'll do

• Grow distributor penetration: more ordering distributors, more first orders and reactivations, and more products and end users per distributor.
• Turn our creative team into a sales engine, raising the share of product virtuals that become orders without slowing turnaround.
• Own demand generation, marketing automation (HubSpot integrated with SugarCRM) and account-based marketing, with attribution that ties campaigns to closed revenue.
• Sharpen our distributor and end-user ICPs and tell one value proposition two ways: to the distributor, and to the end user through the distributor.
• Lead go-to-market for new product launches inside a documented four-month launch process.
• Lead and develop two marketing leaders, and build and defend the annual marketing budget.
• Partner with our VPs of Inside Sales and Field Sales as peers, and report on a weekly scorecard.
