About our client

A leading international financial institution is hiring a technically minded transformation lead to deliver high-impact change programmes across its markets business in the region. You will work with senior leaders, head office and teams in other locations to put in place new platforms, regulatory requirements and improved ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Build alignment between senior stakeholders, technology teams and legal entities, using regional strengths to deliver strategic platform and business solutions
• Direct large, cross-functional change initiatives from front office through to operations and control, covering systems delivery, revenue growth and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with engineering and data teams to turn business needs into clear technical requirements and delivery plans
• Support sustainable growth and greater efficiency while tightening controls and managing business risk effectively

Requirements

• 10-15 years of extensive banking background in transformation, business management, or risk and other core support roles
• Solid technical grounding, with direct experience delivering technology-enabled change such as platform, systems or data initiatives
• Degree-level education, ideally in a technical or quantitative subject; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage
• Experience managing the business side of a markets division, or working in production alongside support and control teams
• Good working knowledge of how front office, support and control functions operate, including their risks and controls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities and resolve complex issues at pace
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a record of earning the trust of senior colleagues
• Product knowledge in fixed income or equities is a plus
