VP, Sales & Marketing
Job Summary:
The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is the senior commercial leader for AssetWorks Facilities, responsible for developing and executing the company's go-to-market strategy across the AssetWorks Core, WebCheckout, Q Ware, SoftChalk, and future portfolio businesses. This role exists to create alignment between marketing investment, market positioning, pipeline generation, sales execution, and revenue growth — ensuring that every commercial dollar and every seller's effort ladders up to a unified strategy focused on measurable business outcomes.Job Description:
Serving as the primary integrator between Marketing and Sales, the Vice President ensures both organizations operate from a single commercial playbook — from demand creation through bookings and expansion. This leader is accountable for consolidated revenue performance across the portfolio, for building scalable sales and marketing processes, and for developing a high-performing commercial team that can compete and grow in each product line's respective market.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial strategy across the portfolio — Develop and own the integrated go-to-market strategy for AssetWorks Core, WebCheckout, Q Ware, and SoftChalk, aligning marketing investment and sales focus to the highest-value revenue opportunities in each business line
- Own consolidated revenue performance — Carry accountability for portfolio-wide bookings, revenue growth, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline coverage, establishing the operating rhythms and governance needed to deliver predictable results
- Provide strategic leadership to Marketing — Direct positioning, demand generation, product marketing, and brand strategy so that marketing programs produce qualified pipeline and measurable contribution to revenue
- Build a disciplined sales engine — Establish sales processes, methodologies, and operating cadences that improve seller productivity, win rates, and deal velocity across new-business and back-to-base motions
- Own commercial systems and analytics — Lead CRM strategy, pipeline governance, revenue reporting, and AI-enabled commercial tooling to give the business clear, data-driven visibility into performance
- Partner with Product on commercialization — Collaborate with Product leadership on pricing, packaging, positioning, and market-expansion initiatives, ensuring new offerings launch with a clear path to revenue
- Develop the commercial team — Recruit, coach, and retain marketing leaders, sales managers, account executives, and solution engineers; build individualized development plans that grow capability and bench strength
- Contribute to company-wide leadership and planning — Participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning, operational reviews, and cross-functional initiatives that advance the business as a whole
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven ability to lead both Sales and Marketing functions in a multi-product software or SaaS environment
- Strong command of pipeline generation, forecasting, and revenue operations, with a track record of delivering predictable bookings growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-presence skills, effective from end-user to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Strategic thinking paired with disciplined execution — able to translate strategy into operating plans and measurable outcomes
- Deep understanding of vertical market software, SaaS economics, and recurring-revenue business models
- Ability to align and prioritize across a multi-product portfolio while maintaining focus on outcomes
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, marketing automation, and data-driven forecasting and analytics
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of commercial leadership experience within software, SaaS, or recurring-revenue businesses
- Experience leading both Sales and Marketing functions strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience owning a portfolio or multiple product lines with distinct customer segments and go-to-market motions
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Experience within a Volaris or Constellation Software portfolio company environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with vertical market software, higher education, or facilities management markets
- Experience integrating and scaling commercial functions across acquired or tuck-in business units preferred
