Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Vulnerability Management (VM) & SOC Analyst with strong hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment, remediation governance and security operations monitoring.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience with Qualys VMDR, CVSS scoring, SIEM tools and EDR solutions, along with the ability to identify, investigate and respond to security threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vulnerability assessments, scanning and vulnerability identification using Qualys VMDR.
- Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on CVSS scores, severity and business risk.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams for vulnerability remediation and closure.
- Monitor security events, alerts and incidents using Microsoft Sentinel or IBM QRadar.
- Perform security alert investigation, triaging, threat detection and incident escalation.
- Work with EDR tools such as CrowdStrike and Microsoft Defender.
- Leverage threat intelligence to identify emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Prepare vulnerability assessment reports, dashboards and remediation status updates.
Added Advantage: Japanese language proficiency will be given high priority.
