About Wynn Al Marjan Island:
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
About the Position:
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Waiter/Waitress-Catering & Banquets to join the resort’s Food & Beverage team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
Greeting guests warmly and provide an engaging, personalized dining experience.
Present menus, offer recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages.
Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery of all items.
Anticipate guest needs, check on satisfaction, and provide proactive service.
Handle guest concerns or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
Ensure all interactions reflect Wynn’s service philosophy and Forbes standards.
Set up, maintain, and clear tables according to outlet standards.
Serve food and beverages with precision, attention to detail, and proper etiquette.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, side stations, and service equipment.
Support opening, closing, and shift‑change procedures.
Follow all SOPs related to service flow, order handling, and guest engagement
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel or equivalent restaurant
Good product knowledge of international/local cuisine, beverages preparation methods.
Secondary school diploma or above.
Fluent spoken English and one other language specified for restaurant guest demographics
Knowledge of MS Office, POS Software will be preferred
Customer service orientated, good communicator and interpersonal skills, good salesmanship
Well-groomed with excellent hygiene, confident, friendly and polite
Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer‑service mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment.
Additional languages are an advantage.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Fluency in English is mandatory
Additional languages such as Russian, German, French, or Chinese are highly desirable to accommodate international guests
Ability to explain menu items and respond to guest inquiries in multiple languages is a strong advantage
