About the role

Join our team as a Waiter/Waitress at Convento San Roque!

Hotel with its own restaurant, cafeteria, terrace, and wedding and event celebrations.

What you'll do

Customer service, offering close, professional, and attentive service.

Prepare, organize, and execute the service of the cafeteria, terrace, and restaurant dining room.

Attend to the different services of breakfast, daily menu, à la carte, groups, and events.

Participate in the setup and service of weddings, celebrations, and special events, adapting to different formats and workloads.

Perform order taking, table service, payment processing, and attending to customer needs during service.

Prepare and serve coffees, soft drinks, wines, beers, mixed drinks, and other beverages typical of a cafeteria and restaurant.

Perform product restocking and ensure different work areas are correctly supplied.

Prepare and perform the setup and breakdown of tables, lounges, terraces, and event spaces.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and prepared before, during, and after each service.

Take care of materials, crockery, glassware, cutlery, and equipment, communicating any issues.

Communication and teamwork: coordinate with your colleagues in the dining room, kitchen, and reception to ensure service flows correctly.

Support stock control, receipt of goods, and the organization of storerooms and beverage coolers.

What we're looking for

It is necessary to have your own vehicle if you do not reside in Balmaseda.

Previous experience in cafeteria, restaurant, hotel, banquets, or events (valued).

Ability to work effectively both at the bar as well as on the terrace and in the dining room.

A responsible, organized, and proactive person.

Good appearance and attention to detail.

Ability to work with agility during periods of higher workload.

Flexibility and availability to work at weddings and events, mainly on weekends.

Knowledge of wines, table service, cafeteria, and basic cocktails will be valued.

Eagerness to learn, improve, and be part of a stable project.
