The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing professional and courteous food and beverage service to guests while ensuring a positive dining experience. The role includes taking orders, serving meals and beverages, maintaining table presentation, and responding promptly to guest requirements.

- Greet guests professionally and assist them with seating when required.
- Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
- Prepare and maintain table settings before, during, and after service.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Process bills and payments accurately where required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the dining and service areas.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, grooming, and company service standards.
Requirements - Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter/Waitress, preferably in a 4 or 5 star hotel or established restaurant.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Experience in order taking, table service, and guest handling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused and professional attitude.
- Good grooming and personal hygiene.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.
- Must have valid QID and Food Handler Certificate.
