Waitress - Banquet (Kuwait)

A 5-star luxury hotel is seeking experienced Waitresses to join its Food & Beverage team and deliver a refined, professional, and welcoming guest experience. The ideal candidates will have strong service skills, a pleasant personality, and prior experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, lobby lounge, or fine dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, professional, and courteous service

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams

• Serve food and beverages according to hotel standards and sequence of service

• Ensure tables are properly set, clean, organized, and ready for guest service

• Maintain strong menu knowledge, including dishes, beverages, ingredients, and special promotions

• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests

• Handle guest feedback or minor concerns politely and report issues to the supervisor when needed

• Support upselling of menu items, beverages, desserts, and special offers

• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, stewarding, and other service team members to ensure smooth operations

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times

• Follow grooming, appearance, and service standards as per hotel policy

• Assist with opening, closing, and side duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Waitress in a hotel, restaurant, café, lobby lounge, or similar F&B environment

• Prior experience in a 5-star or luxury hotel environment is an advantage

• Good knowledge of Food & Beverage service standards and basic sequence of service

• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional attitude

• Presentable, well-groomed, and service-oriented

• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle guest requests professionally

• Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
