Hours: 10:00pm–7:00am, weekdays and weekends


Positions: Full-time and part-time roles available


Pay: £14.00 per hour weekdays | £14.50 per hour weekends

A Class Care is an established home care provider recruiting compassionate, reliable and experienced Waking Night Support Workers to support clients across Northamptonshire.

Our referrals are located across Northampton, Wellingborough and the surrounding areas. Car drivers are preferred due to the locations of some clients, but driving is not essential.


The role

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will remain awake and available throughout the night to ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of the person you are supporting.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing reassurance and emotional support throughout the night
  • Monitoring the client’s wellbeing and responding to any changes
  • Completing regular welfare checks where required
  • Maintaining accurate and timely care records
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or concerns
  • Supporting clients who are elderly or have learning disabilities
  • Promoting dignity, independence, choice and person-centred care

About you

We are looking for people who are:

  • Previous experience gained within a care setting is required
  • Compassionate, reliable and professional
  • Confident working independently throughout the night
  • Calm and able to respond appropriately to unexpected situations
  • Experienced in care or support work
  • Able to communicate clearly and maintain accurate records
  • Available to work between 10:00pm and 7:00am on weekdays and/or weekends
  • Willing to complete all required training and recruitment checks
  • Able to travel to client locations within Northamptonshire
