About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic BI Intern to join our BI team for a 6-month project. You will work alongside experienced BI team, learning how data is turned into dashboards and insights that support business decisions. Fresher and final-year students are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the BI team in building and maintaining dashboards and reports, primarily in Qlik Sense.
• Support the design of data analytics frameworks that meet changing business needs.
• Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, and help ensure its accuracy, currency, and consistency.
• Explore data sources, identify outliers and anomalies, and help define business rules under the guidance of senior team members.
• Analyze numbers, trends, and patterns to draw conclusions and summarize them in clear, actionable insights.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across business teams to understand reporting needs and gather feedback.
• Learn the business drivers, operational processes, and key lead and lag indicators of business performance.
• Research and suggest BI and analytics tools or process improvements that could generate better data-driven insights.
• Document data sources, business rules, dashboard logic, and project progress.
• Complete the assigned 6-month project and present findings to the team at the end of the internship.

Skills and Qualifications

Required

• Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working with numbers and data.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Excel.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

• Exposure to any BI tool (Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau) through coursework, certifications, or personal projects.
• Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Understanding of data visualization principles.
• Prior academic or personal projects involving data analysis.
