- Define the data model, security model (sharing, roles, profiles, permission sets), and org strategy
- Produce solution blueprints, HLD/LLD documents, and architecture diagrams
- Evaluate build-vs-buy and declarative-vs-programmatic trade-offs, and make sure solutions respect platform limits and best practices
- Run technical design reviews and act as the architecture governance point for the team.
Integration
- Design and lead integrations between Salesforce and ERP, billing, marketing, data warehouse, and legacy systems
- Choose the right integration pattern (request-reply, fire-and-forget, batch, event-driven, CDC) for each use case
- Implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Bulk API, and Outbound Messaging

Technical Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and upskill developers; conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
- Own technical estimation, sprint planning input, and delivery of the technical roadmap
- Establish DevOps and CI/CD practices (Git, SFDX, Copado/Gearset/Jenkins/Azure DevOps) and release management
- Drive performance tuning, governor limit optimization, and technical debt reduction
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business analysts, product owners, and enterprise architects to shape solutions
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs clearly to business and technical audiences
- Support pre-sales or discovery activities such as proposals, estimates, and POCs where needed

- Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, large data volume (LDV) strategies, and data migration
- Solid grasp of Salesforce security, sharing architecture, and multi-org or multi-cloud design
- Experience with DevOps, version control, and automated deployment pipelines
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications: Application Architect, System Architect, Integration Architecture Designer, Platform Developer II (CTA is a strong plus)
