COMPETITION OVERVIEW

The Walleye Stock Competition is a 10-week, long/short stock-picking competition run by Walleye Capital.

At registration, each team selects two sectors of coverage. Each sector contains curated U.S. names. Students will select 15 names per sector from a basket of securities provided by Walleye. Teams cover those two sectors for the full season.
  • Each week, teams hold a rating on every name in their sectors (Strong Buy, Buy, Neutral, Sell, Strong Sell).
  • For two high-conviction ideas, teams write a one-time earnings preview pitch.
  • Scoring will be based on a combination of risk-adjusted book performance and pitch quality.

Additional competition details will be shared with selected, registered teams following the registration deadline.
