HK$69,154 to HK$97,787 per month (HMPS Pt. 2 – Pt. 9) (Including Monthly Allowance) | ||||
An Additional Managerial Responsibility Allowance of HK$1,500.00 per month.
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Responsibilities | ||||
1. | Manage day-to-day operation of a ward/unit. | |||
2. | Supervise ward/unit staff on safe delivery of patient care. | |||
3. | Manage budget to ensure adequate equipment and consumables for smooth running of the ward/unit. | |||
4. | Monitor quality of patient care. | |||
5. | Develop annual plan for service development of ward/unit. | |||
6. | Motivate and coach staff for effective patient care delivery and professional development. | |||
7. | Facilitate clinical training for learners and continuing education for nurses. | |||
8. | Initiate quality improvement activities. | |||
9. | Participate in the development of professional nursing practice. | |||

Entry Requirements | ||||
1. | Holder of a valid Registered Nurse (Psychiatric) practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. | |||
2. | Qualification in advanced nursing specialty*. | |||
3. | A degree in Nursing or equivalent. | |||
4. | 5 years or more post-registration experience in healthcare of which at least 3 years is in the related specialty and 2 years is in a management role. | |||

| * | Qualification in advanced nursing specialty refers to recognized post-registration certificate, or post-graduate certificate/diploma course in nursing specialty, or Master in nursing# or related discipline with considerable coverage on a relevant nursing specialty. | ||

Preferred Attributes / Exposure | ||||
1. | Demonstrated competency and leadership of a WM/UM. | |||
