Warden Call Project Manager
Summary
Manages fire and security (warden call) projects end to end — planning, budgets, compliance, quality, and client communication — while coordinating engineers and subcontractors. Requires 5+ years' fire/security project management experience, SMSTS/IOSH and FIA accreditation, and a UK driving licence; based in London with a company car or allowance.
Job Purpose
We are looking for either a life safety-biased or security-biased Project Manager, if you can deliver both disciplines already this will be a benefit, however, we are willing to train.
Location: Open to consider depending on the right candidate
Salary: £60,000.00 per year
Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30- 17:00
Additional information: company car or car allowance included.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead and manage fire and security projects from inception to completion, ensuring all aspects are executed efficiently and within budget.
- Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific requirements, and providing professional advice and guidance throughout the project life cycle.
- Team Management: Coordinate project teams, including engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure effective collaboration and project success.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions and ensure project safety.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant fire and security regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Budget Control: Monitor project expenses and resource allocation, making necessary adjustments to maintain profitability.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control measures to deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and addressing any challenges.
- Continuous Improvements: Continuously assess and refine project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What You'll Bring
- Experience, Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing fire and security projects, with a track record of successful project.
- Warden Call experience.
- UK Driving Licence.
- SMSTS or IOSH accredited.
- FIA accredited.
