Summary
Warehouse worker loads lumber orders, operates forklifts, and assists customers in a Houston lumber yard, requiring physical stamina and basic warehouse skills.
Busy Houston lumber yard is seeking a dependable, hard-working, customer service-oriented team player for its warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition toward customers and coworkers, solid work ethic, team first and can do attitude are essential You could be part of the Dakota team!
Experience, skills, and abilities include:
- Prior experience in hardwood lumber and/or plywood distribution is preferred
- Knowledge of picking orders within lumber yard or warehouse environment
- Ability to load 18 wheeler and flatbed
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
- Experience operating forklift (propane 6k lb+ sit down)
Day shift, Monday through Friday, some Saturdays
Must be able to work overtime
Weekly pay - hourly position
Starting pay depends on skills and experience
Bonus option after completion of probationary period
