They are currently seeking an experienced Warehousing & Logistics professional to join their team based in Scoresby.

The Position...

Warehousing

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and organising deliveries and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
  
• Ensure appropriate processing and storage of all items in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System and legal requirements.
  
• Use of forklift to load/unload deliveries and movement of items within warehouse.
  
• Ensure warehouse enquiries at back door are answered and managed in a timely and appropriate manner ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
  

• Ensure all Training course resources are packed and sent in a timely manner in accordance with training schedule.
  
• Ensure any equipment required for a job or course is packed and sent in a timely manner in accordance with the requirements for the job or course.
  
• Ensure ‘packing’ schedules and lists are followed accurately.
  
• Plan and manage equipment movements with the appropriate Manager in logistics calendar.
  
• Coordinate the shipment of orders, preparing shipping labels, and liaising with transport providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  

• Use of hand and power tools (drills, circular saw, angle grinder, bandsaw) and similar equipment to support or help prepare work by other employees in the compliance and consulting teams.
  
• Assist other employees as requested with activities such as building items, moving items, setting up test areas, setting up classrooms etc.
  

The successful person will have 2+ years’ experience in warehousing and logistics and meet the following key requirements.

• Forklift Licence (mandatory).
  
• Driver's licence (mandatory).
  
• Ability to use hand and power tools i.e. drills, circular saw and angle grinder (mandatory).
  
• Computer skills, with email and basic Microsoft programs and an aptitude for learning new programs (mandatory).
  
• Good mechanical aptitude (mandatory).
  
• A commitment to following best practice Health and Safety requirements.
  
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  
• Good communication, (verbal and written).
  
• Self-motivated with ability to set and prioritise tasks.
  
• Proactive team player.
  
• Ability to weld an advantage.
  
• Commitment to on-going training.
