Warehouse Assistant (1-year contract)

Manage warehouse shipments and inventory: receive, inspect, pick, pack, and coordinate deliveries while maintaining accurate records and warehouse order.

You will manage all warehouse shipment and inventory activities, ensuring accurate processing, coordination, and delivery of goods while maintaining warehouse order and supporting operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and receive incoming shipments to verify accuracy and condition
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing goods safely and efficiently
- Pick and pack goods accurately according to shipping documents for delivery
- Manage and coordinate physical inventory counts and perform cycle counts as requested
- Process inbound and outbound inventory transactions in the ERP system to maintain accurate records
- Prepare delivery-related documents such as invoices and delivery orders for shipments
- Coordinate with local transporters to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
- Maintain general housekeeping to keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of related warehouse experience
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as hand pallets to support material handling
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel and MS Word, to assist with documentation and reporting
- Possession of a forklift license is an advantage but not essential
- Demonstrated teamwork, diligence, and responsibility in work tasks
- Willingness to work overtime, including holidays and weekends, as required
