Warehouse Assistant

Working days: Monday - Friday
Working hours: 8am - 6pm | Friday: 8am - 5pm
Pay: $12/hr | About $2,000+ / mth
Location: 28 Quality Road, then subsequently 7 Clementi Loop

[1 Year contract Renewable]

We are looking for reliable, responsible and hardy individuals on a contract basis that able to start work immediately at our client's warehouse over at the Clementi Area.

This role is suitable for someone who is comfortable/enjoys physical work, routine processes and working in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include heaving boxes of paper documents (like bank and/or hospital records) off and out of transportation lorries onto the trolley and pushing them to wherever the boxes.

In addition to warehouse duties and depending on situation, you may be tasked with the destruction of said documents using the industrial paper shredder located within the premises itself, but it will not be a big portion of the job itself (Consider it a break from the usual box heaving.

The role involves daily physical activity, including prolonged standing, bending and lifting of boxess weighing at least 15kg.

The warehouse itself is not warm/stuffy and have adequate ventilation infrastructure. Also, due to the sensitivity of the documents that you are dealing with, mobile devices will have to be deposited at an area while you are working.

Finally, should you be shortlisted, you will be required to furnish your credit bureau report & Police Spent Records for background check purposes.

Job Requirements:

Average intellect and is able for follow instruction.
Good team player and independent worker who requires minimal supervision.
Able to lift boxes (up to 15kg) for continually.
Ok with standing, walking and bending.
Ok with wearing safety shoe.
