Warehouse Assistant Cum Driver

Job Description

• Manage day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations, including inbound/outbound shipments, inventory control, and stock management.
• Perform delivery and collection of goods to customers, suppliers, and company outlets, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and minimize transportation costs.
• Load, unload, inspect, and secure goods during transportation to prevent damage.
• Receive, check, store, pick, pack, and dispatch goods accurately while maintaining proper stock rotation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts.
• Oversee warehouse layout, housekeeping, and space utilization to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Ensure company vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and serviced according to schedule. Report any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety standards, and transportation regulations.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and resolve delivery issues.
• Assist in maintaining and improving warehouse and logistics processes, including inventory tracking and delivery documentation.
• Handle purchasing activities and bonded warehouse release matters when required.
• Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Director.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'N'/'O' Level or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or delivery operations is preferred.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence with a good driving record.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
