Warehouse Assistant (Electronics Manufacturing)

Receiving and Inbound Operations

• Inspect incoming shipments of electronic components and raw materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Handle ESD-sensitive items carefully using proper anti-static protection and safety gear.
• Unload, sort, and label goods before putting them away into designated stock locations.

Production Support

• Pick and stage materials (components, PCBs, hardware) based on Bills of Materials (BOM) for the assembly line.
• Issue raw materials promptly to production teams to prevent line stoppages.
• Return unused or excess materials back to warehouse inventory from the production floor.
• Work with Quality Technician for engineering updates

Inventory Control and Shipping

• Update stock records using computerized inventory or ERP systems via barcode scanning.
• Conduct cycle counts and routine physical stock-takes to ensure count accuracy.
• Pack and prepare finished electronic products or outbound shipments with proper protective wrapping and shipping labels.
• Identify ways to improve logistics efficiency and warehousing methodology

Housekeeping and Safety

• Maintain 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to keep the workspace clean and hazard-free.
• Operate material handling equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts if certified.
• Report damaged parts
• Utilizing materials effectively and reduce wastage.
• Building and maintains effective working relationships with all departments of the organization
• Ensure work standards of safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, 5S and budgetary (tools, scraps etc.) goals
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possesses valid forklift license.
• Able to operate pallet jacks.
• At least 2 years of warehousing experience in manufacturing environment
• Able to take on overtime rotation.
