Warehouse Assistant

We are seeking an Inventory/Warehouse Assistant to collaborate with the team supervisor and manager in managing the company’s inventory system, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.

Job Description

• Receive and inspect temperature-sensitive goods, checking for accuracy and damage.
• Maintain accurate inventory and organize cold storage areas.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders while keeping products at correct temperatures.
• Load/unload goods safely, ensuring cold chain integrity.
• Operate equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) safely in cold environments.
• Record inventory, temperature logs, and other required documentation.
• Keep cold storage areas clean and follow safety guidelines.
• Work with the team to support daily warehouse operations.

Requirement:

1. Ability to work in a physically demanding cold store environment.
2. Proficiency in using computer systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel & Word).
3. Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize workloads effectively.
4. Meticulous, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Effective communication in both English and Mandarin to interact with Mandarin/English-speaking clients and stakeholders.
7. Experience in cold chain management, food safety regulations (HACCP), and inventory control.
8. Valid forklift license and experience operating a reach truck and pallet jack.
