Warehouse Assistant

Role Description:This position is responsible for helping in themovement of window and door material for customers – location to jobsite. This may include loading, delivering andreturning products to and from customer projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Be committed to customer service above all else – leadby example and set a high standard of service for internal and externalcustomers at all timesHelp with making sure loads are pulled and ready to beloaded for delivery, also with putting away products within warehouse fromvendor deliveriesAssist with receiving of products from vendordeliveries, reconcile what products are being delivered with purchasedpaperwork, insure organized placement of products within warehouse in properlocations/areasResponsible for assisting internal/external customers,and helping with yard/warehouse organization and cleanliness Have a working knowledge of all window products that driverswill deliver and location will receiveAny other tasks as assigned by management Skills Needed:High school diploma or GED, Ability to communicate and read English Be physically fit, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, beforklift certified Physical Demands:The physical demandsdescribed here are representative of those that must be met by an associate tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands tofinger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, and hear in a safe manner.Regularly required to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally requiredto lift up to 125 lbs Regularly required to use close vision, distancevision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception(three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatialrelationships), and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye tobring an object into sharp focus).
