Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and energetic Warehouse Assistant to join our operations team. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day warehouse activities, including goods handling, order preparation, stock management, and general warehouse support while following company standards and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and arrange incoming shipments in an efficient manner.
  • Perform unloading, checking, and proper handling of delivered goods.
  • Match received items with relevant delivery documents and records.
  • Organize products systematically according to storage requirements.
  • Prepare customer orders through picking, packing, labeling, and staging.
  • Support delivery teams with loading and unloading activities.
  • Assist with regular stocktaking and inventory reconciliation.
  • Update and maintain accurate records of warehouse transactions.
  • Keep storage areas neat, tidy, and free from safety hazards.
  • Identify and report damaged, short, excess, or incorrect items to the supervisor.
  • Follow established operational procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
  • Carry out additional warehouse-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or material handling is preferred.
  • Physically fit and comfortable handling and moving goods.
  • Able to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks responsibly.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn new procedures.
  • Well-organized, dependable, and punctual.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Willing to work 6 days per week and support overtime when required.
