Warehouse Assistant

Requirements

• Minimum MULO+ / LTS+ level of education or equivalent
  
• Minimum 1 year of relevant warehouse or logistics experience
  
• Basic knowledge of inventory administration
  
• Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures and processes
  
• Basic knowledge of computerized warehouse or inventory systems
  
• Basic understanding of workplace safety rules and procedures
  
• Good command of Dutch, both written and spoken
  
• Accurate and reliable approach to work
  
• Strong sense of order and cleanliness
  
• Customer-oriented and service-minded
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  
• Physically able to handle and lift products weighing up to 35 kg
  
• Willingness to follow company safety, EHS, and quality procedure
  

What will you be doing?

As a Warehouse Assistant, your key responsibilities will involve receiving, unloading, sorting, storing, and issuing products and packaging materials. You will prepare incoming orders for delivery to the main store and branch locations and ensure that all required documentation and delivery notes are correctly processed.

You will check receiving documentation, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist with periodic warehouse inventories. You will also organize products on warehouse shelves and ensure that orders are correctly prepared and ready for delivery.

In addition, you will perform general warehouse administration, including filing delivery notes and maintaining relevant records. You will help keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and safe and ensure that products are handled and stored correctly.

You will be expected to comply with all applicable warehouse, safety, EHS, and 5S quality management procedures. You will participate in assigned EHS training and promptly report any incidents, near misses, or safety concerns.

You may also be required to perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned and support colleagues to ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and accurately.
