Warehouse Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and Processing Stock: Receive unload, and inspect incoming materials and products to ensure they meet purchase requirements.

  • Verify and check orders for accuracy, ensuring correct materials and quantities are loaded or delivered. Including issuing duties and coordinating transportation.

  • Order Preparation: Picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or pickup. To Customer or Vendor.

  • Inventory Management: Performing inventory controls by keeping thorough inventory records, conduct frequent stock counts, and update systems.

  • To ensure the accuracy and tally of system and physical quantities.

  • Safety and Cleanliness: Assist with maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Store and organize raw materials, parts, and finished goods in designated locations.

  • Equipment Operation: Operate company vehicles, such as trucks, vans, and warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and sawing machines, in a safe and efficient manner. Transport materials and finished goods safely.

  • Reporting: Logging inventory discrepancies and communicating with supervisors and coworkers.

  • Operational Excellence Initiatives: 5S and continuous improvement projects

  • Compliances: Conformances to health, safety and regulatory guidelines provided.

Requirements

  • Working experience as a warehouse worker.

  • Proficiency in basic MS offices, SAP MM (preferred) and utilisation of warehouse management system

  • Current forklift license (preferred).

  • A Class 3 license and 3 years driving experience in Singapore.

  • NITEC and above or relevant certification in warehouse management
