Warehouse Assistant

The client operates in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, specializing in sales and distribution of hardware and repair and servicing of clinching machines.

Job Summary

You will manage warehouse operations including sourcing parts, packing for delivery, loading and unloading pallets, stock replenishment, and maintaining storage organization to support efficient logistics and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Source required parts, verify quantities, and pack them accurately for delivery
• Load and unload pallets for freight forwarders safely and efficiently
• Perform basic wrapping and palletizing to prepare goods for shipment
• Organize and maintain warehouse storage with basic stock arrangement
• Replenish stock on shelves and conduct stock-taking to ensure inventory accuracy
• Assist team members and maintain good housekeeping standards in the warehouse
• Prioritize and complete multiple tasks independently and collaboratively under workload pressure
• Follow procedures and instructions precisely to ensure operational compliance

Required competencies and certifications

• Ability to carry heavy loads and stand for prolonged periods to meet physical demands of the role
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Basic literacy to read and converse in English or Mandarin for communication and instruction comprehension

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possession of a forklift license is preferred but not required; training may be provided
