Position: Temporary Warehouse Associate (2 Positions)
Duration: Approximately 2 to 3 Weeks
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, as scheduled

About Griffin

Griffin Greenhouse Supplies is seeking two temporary Warehouse Associates to assist with a short-term warehouse cleanup and remediation project at our Brookhaven, NY facility. The primary responsibility will be manually handling, inspecting, weighing, and reorganizing bagged soil products to support warehouse sanitation and inventory recovery efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually handle, lift, and reposition bags of soil products weighing approximately 40–70 lbs.
• Assist with inspecting and sorting products as needed.
• Weigh and organize materials according to project requirements.
• Restack pallets and maintain an orderly work area.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and instructions provided by management.
• Assist with general cleanup associated with the project.

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including repeated lifting and handling of heavy materials.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and directions.

Additional Information:

This is a short-term assignment expected to last approximately two weeks. Work will be performed under the direction of the Operations Manager.
