About the Role

Our Buffalo location is looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is a warehouse-first role. Most of your day will be spent pulling and staging orders, loading and unloading trucks, keeping inventory accurate, and making local deliveries in our company van. When the team needs backup, you will also step in to help customers at the counter and over the phone.

This role is best suited for someone who already has hands-on warehouse experience and is comfortable handling heavy, bulky material safely and accurately.

Minimum Requirements (Please review before applying)

• At least 1 year of hands-on warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience
• A valid, clean driver's license and the ability to pass a driving record check - this is required, as this role regularly drives a company van for local deliveries
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and handle heavy or awkward materials throughout the shift
• Solid math skills, including calculating and converting measurements (square feet, square yards, linear feet)
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime

What You'll Do

• Pull, stage, and verify orders accurately in the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks and receive incoming shipments
• Make local deliveries to customers and job sites in a company van
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper stock placement
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
• Back up our counter service team by assisting customers in person and over the phone as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience (certification a plus)
• Experience in flooring, building materials, or a similar distribution environment
• Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems
• Some customer-facing experience, such as counter sales, will call, or phone support

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the warehouse for the full shift
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures

Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site position. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.
