This position is responsible for accurately and effectively pulling jobs and filling orders. You will be responsible for various warehouse responsibilities and will learn a variety of skills to cover all needs of the warehouse.
- Receive, unload, inventory, and stock incoming materials (loading, picking, unloading, labeling, and storing materials).
- Maintain an organized and accountable inventory system.
- Accurately pull materials for job orders and fulfill requests promptly.
- Verify and process material requisition forms for tools, equipment, and other stock items.
- Identify and report discrepancies between ordered and received materials.
- Handle material returns and process credits with vendors as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including restocking, merchandising, sweeping, and general upkeep of warehouse and parking areas.
- Conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy and address backorders as necessary.
- Receive and process deliveries from carriers such as UPS and FedEx.
- Assist with end-of-year inventory counts.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 0 to 2+ Years Experience
- Must be able to stand and/or walk to fill orders, assist customers on the sales floor, etc.
- Must be able to stock product at various racking levels, use step-stool or ladder, etc.
- Must be able to place product on/off conveyor, trucks, shelving, etc.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
