Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team in Lima, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and forklift operation, ensuring efficient and safe handling of materials within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Conducts daily safety check of forklift trucks.
- Operate forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently.
- Takes necessary steps to prevent theft in the warehouse. Secures all doors and docks at the close of business.
- Questions any unauthorized personnel in the building.
- Prepare orders for shipment and ensure proper packaging.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures. At least two years’ experience in the warehousing industry.
- At least 2 years of forklift experience required.
- WMS experience preferred.
- Must be able to read, understand, and follow all procedures relating to shipping and receiving forms.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Must be team oriented.
- Must have a good knowledge of arithmetic functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to all challenges that arise within the operation.
