Role Overview

The Warehouse Associate I efficiently picks and packages orders per specifications. This role involves a variety of physically demanding tasks, including loading boxes onto carts and unloading them onto trailers for shipping. The Warehouse Associate may also be assigned to other duties as needed to meet operational requirements. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Essential Duties and Functions

• Pick orders using a handheld scanner, walking along the pick line, and loading products onto designated carts.
• Utilize a computer to scan and verify that the correct items are accurately placed into the designated boxes and attach the shipping labels.
• Rotate into various positions as required by Operations/Production needs.
• Maintain professional work behavior with co-workers and management.
• Follow all processes and safety requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report to work on time and adhere to company attendance standards.
• Understand and execute all required documentation and work instructions accurately.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, etc.
• Perform any additional tasks as needed to support overall warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing legibly, following oral instructions, and performing basic math.
• RF scanner experience preferred.
• Physical capability to frequently lift and move boxes up to 25 pounds safely, with or without accommodation, and occasionally lift and move boxes up to 35 pounds.
• Stamina to stand for prolonged periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and pivoting for up to 75% of the workday.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Multitasking capability to handle various tasks efficiently and effectively.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This is a seasonal position expected to continue through the end of 2026. Candidates must be available to work the day after Thanksgiving (Friday, November 27) and Saturday, November 28, as well as occasional weekends based on business needs.

This role requires being able to safely lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis throughout the duration of the shift, including potential overtime hours. Occasional lifting and movement of items weighing up to 35 pounds may be required. This role requires standing for extended periods and performing frequent physical movements, including bending, crouching, and pivoting for up to 75% of the workday.
